Why does my shingle roof leak in the valley?
Valleys carry the most water on the roof. They leak from improper installation, aging shingles, missing valley flashing, or debris that holds water. The fix is new underlayment and valley metal, not a layer of sealant on top.
What causes shingle roof leaks around walls and chimneys?
Usually flashing that wasn’t installed right. Water gets under the shingles and reaches a nail hole. We install new underlayment and new step flashing to send the water where it should go.
Can you match my existing shingles?
We match the closest color available. On older roofs the new shingles can look a little different at first while the old ones are weathered.

How much does a shingle roof repair cost?

Why do ridge caps crack before the rest of the roof?
Ridge caps are bent to fit over the ridge, and older ones were often made of weaker material, so they crack sooner than the flat shingles. We replace them with newer, more durable ridge caps.
Can a hot attic damage my shingles?
Yes. An under-ventilated attic gets too hot and can make shingles fail early, and condensation can even cause a leak. A ridge vent with new ridge caps helps cool the attic.
Should I repair or replace my shingle roof?
